you unplug your 9006 bulb, toss it in a drawer or your glove box for backup, and plug the factory harness into the inverter box, and then the hid bulb has a 9006 housing and goes into the headlight like normal. Be sure you do NOT touch the hid bulb with your skin. Also, you may find the prongs on your headlight housing are bent out a little bit and the hid bulb is some what loose. If this happens, either carefully bend them in with a flat tip BEFORE you put the hid bulb in, or add a second rubber seal around the base of the bulb housing. I chose the first suggestion because having another rubber seal made the bulb sit slightly from center and threw off the light pattern. If you look closely at the tabs that hold the actual bulb housing, you'll see that there is a nice place to put a flat tip screwdriver and push forward. It will bend in slightly and be much tighter on the hid bulb housing. That's all there was to it for me.
